Don’t Eat Too Much Meat If You Got Arthritis

After months of being a lot better (read: less attack of osteoarthritis symptoms), the last three days found me on square one. Knees and thighs stiff again, trouble standing up again after a bit of inactivity (i.e. sitting down in front of my PC). This time was even worse because both my knees were swollen. I never had those before. :(

So I had to reflect on what I have been doing wrong. Alright, I do not have an exercise regime. Only leisurely walking around the house every now and then, if you can call that exercise. ;-) Just to stretch my legs and lessen the stiffness.

April Fools’ Day and Everything Arthritis

Hey guys, I had another long weekend. My thighs and legs are bothering me again. Staying long (sitting down) in front of the PC is becoming a nuisance. :-(

Anyways…in lieu of April Fools’ day, i have no pranks or joke. Only the truth, all about arthritis. The most recent, at least.

Weight Loss, Osteoarthritis and Your Christmas Recipes

Tomorrow night will be Christmas Eve and you most likely have your recipes memorized and the ingredients all bought in preparation for the food you will serve your family on Christmas.

What if there is an arthritis patient in your family? Then you have to put that into consideration when planning your meals for the holiday. Not only arthritis, but what if there is a diabetic or an hypertensive person in the family?
